there's not that much to say, temperature was only in the upper 30's, went out just once to bring in the trash, spent the rest of the day indoors. kielbasa scrambled eggs sauerkraut with matcha latte for lunch, leftover pork chops and smashed cucumbers with rice for dinner. my black disposable nitrile gloves arrived today, and i ordered a xiaomi mi body composition scale 2 from amazon ($19). i also attended a noontime havard zoom lecture titled, "war in ukraine: the view from beijing", it was pretty interesting.

i opened up my macbook pro because it's been running hot and i thought maybe there was something wrong with the battery (like expanding cells) because i can only use it for 1-1/2 hours before it needs to be recharged. but the cells look fine, it was just super dusty on the inside. i blasted it with compressed air and put the machine back together again, hopefully it'll run better now.

i started watching a 2020 horror called anything for jackson about two grieving grandparents who would do anything to bring their dead grandson back to life. i heard about it from the did you get my text? podcast (patton oswalth & meredith salenger), patton was raving about it, said it was one of the scariest movies in years. i watched the first 10 minutes, it was pretty bonkers.

i noticed something today with my chrome browser (on macos), and this probably has been going on for the past few days, but i no longer get that image overlay bug that i've been experiencing for well over a year now. occasionally i'd check online to see if anyone else has experienced it, but i seem to be the only one. whatever the case may be, i no longer have that glitch anymore.
