this morning i returned to the community garden to mine more larkspur seedlings (before it started raining around 2pm), after i planted 3 containers of larkspurs in my own backyard. later in the evening i discovered all this rush was for naught, as the actual garden workday wasn't until 11/6 (i thought it was this sunday). but the good thing is i got most the plants i wanted moved. tomorrow and saturday i might want to mine more larkspurs, then relinquish my rights to my garden plants come sunday so the vultures can pick what they want.

for lunch and dinner i finished my leftover ricotta pie, even though my parents visited me in the afternoon to deliver some fresh frozen chinese dumplings they made earlier. i was supposed to eat the dumplings for dinner but decided to save them for tomorrow night. my parents came to pick up the wire rack i found on the curb tuesday night. not sure what they'd use it for, but they don't want it, they can always toss it back out onto the curb. while they were here, i also showed them my latest led door frame lights and my shark rocket vacuum which they haven't seen yet.

cristina contacted me from spain, practicing her chinese. she and kiki were leaving for tanzania next week, along with one of cristina's sisters. i reminded her to watch westworld, now already 4 episodes into the series.

i went to the dollar store looking to find a suitable plastic bin to put all the collection of electronic gadgets i had lying around on my coffee table. i couldn't resist picking up some snacks as well then returned home to engorge myself on junk food. by that point it was already drizzling slightly. by the evening it was a soft rain. we're supposed to get at least half an inch on the boston area by tomorrow.
