i got to sleep an extra hour courtesy of the switch to standard time; at least that was the plan, but i woke up an hour early, my body not yet adjusted to the time difference. with ana not yet back from where ever she disappeared to, i got a chance to enjoy a quiet morning of pleasant solitude. i had a vietnamese sandwich in the fridge which i ate for breakfast while watching an early NFL game between the detroit lions (1-6) and the kansas city chiefs (2-5) live from london. our friends from across the pond got a dud of a game, a contest between 2 terrible teams.

i finally had enough of the crooked leftside motorcycle mirror, so i went out with my spare mirror and tools to fix it. unfortunately i couldn't remove the mirror for some reason. but in trying to pry it off, i somehow managed to fix the old mirror (it not pivots fine), and didn't need to replace it anymore.

i took the motorcycle to belmont. while my mother was busy knitting and watching some korean soap opera on her ipad, i had some football game on the television while surfing the web. since the patriots already played on thursday, it wasn't as stressful as a typical sunday. because of the time shift, the day felt late even though technically it was still early. my mother had me go around the around changing the clocks back one hour. i discovered the bucket of unused halloween candy and renewed my fondness for kit kats.

back at home i watched the sunday night football game between two undefeated teams: the greenbay packers versus the denver broncos. denver ended up dismantling greenbay. ana didn't come home until around 11:30pm, dragging behind her a little travel suitcase. around midnight i caught the end of the world series, as kansas city won the championship over the mets after scoring 5 runs in the 12th inning.
