i didn't go outside today, but i knew it was warm from the remote thermometer display. my indoor temperature was a constant 72 degrees, rising up to 74 by evening. i made some chicken sausage oatmeal for lunch. my falcon great smoky mountain trail guide arrived, wasn't expecting it to be in color. most of the day was spent researching python; i realized it's very similar to macromedia/adobe lingo with things like dynamic type assignments and tab/space blocking (instead of parenthesis). i was following a udemy python introduction course but it was too slow and the instructor has a high british accent that was hard to follow; i ended up learning more about python from a pdf book teaching you how to use python with the raspberry pi. so far i've yet to discover how it can be useful for me, but it'd definitely be easier and quicker to write in python than some other languages. for dinner, some chicken ravioli with sweet basil & spinach tomato sauce.
