sophia was supposed to go to the arsenal mall today but when that plan fell through, i told her i could take her to the galleria mall. we grab the subway, got off at kendall square, and then walked the 15 minutes to the mall. i browsed the bookstore for an hour while she went shopping. i looked at some motorcycle books, some nature field guides, and a bunch of gardening books. chicken raising books seem to be very popular and i glanced a bunch of useful info if i ever want to raise my own chickens (i do). after i met up with sophia again, she said she had more shopping to do, so i decided to go home instead. i noticed i was having some lower back issues, mainly my tailbone; probably due to sitting on my ass all week, hopefully i can just walk it off.

back at home, i made a quick stop at the cafe to grab some dinner for later (jiou tsai heze). sophia didn't come back home until almost 7:00. she ended up not getting anything at the mall but instead got some grocery from the local supermarket. she was also supposed to go out to an 80's theme dance club but decided to cancel, accusing me of giving her my stay-at-home contagion.
