interspersed between bouts of client B coding, i managed to fill the tank for the motorcycle (i rode on reserve coming home last night), visited rite aid to get some more roca candy, and got some groceries from market basket (i was being all tough and shopped without a cart, which ended up hurting my stick arms). i was also on a conference call with client N to discuss some work before the project manager leaves for vacation tomorrow and won't come back until january.

what a difference a day makes: the weather today was mild (40's), and steadily getting warmer until it was almost 60 degrees. i finally managed to procure a copy of leopard but i don't want to upgrade my laptop hard drive just yet because i still need to do work on my macbook pro and i'm afraid upgrading it would take several hours (restoring from backup and then installing XP through bootcamp). i'm waiting for a lull in my schedule or until this weekend.

a cream cheese bagel and a glass of egg nog fulfilled my lunch requirement while old-fashion spaghetti made my dinner. i actually went a little crazy with the recipe. i decided to add some chunks of sausage which made it taste like gumbo. i also sprinkled in some fennel seeds, because i like them, but the bits of licorice-flavoring was unsettling. what i ended up with was a sauce that was italian-cajun-indian.
