today i worked just a single day (8+ hours instead of the more recent 16+ hours). i got as far as setting up the test machine with the 19" LCD touchscreen monitor. oh the joys of a big monitor! (compared to my 15" cathode ray tube backup monitor or my eye-straining 15" macbook screen). i'm definitely saving up some money to buy me a better monitor, even though i hardly use my desktop computer anymore. i've been unwinding with sessions of resident evil but i'm actually even more wired after an hour of shooting cult members in the castle. i had my leftover macaroni and cheese for lunch and dinner, the once crispy crust now reduced to a soggy topping (the microwaving didn't help either). in the late evening i took a bath, flipping through the latest issue of entertainment weekly. later i had some instant korean ramen in a cup as a late night snack.
