so i didn't wake up dead after all, but i was still a little bit light-headed from last night. i reached over and ate the slice of uneaten pizza left over from last night. that made me feel a little bit better. i tried to stay upright and busy, the activities maybe pushing the blood back up to my brain. i planted some more cypress vines in plastic cups, to replace the two i started indoors but couldn't keep alive long enough to transplant outside. i went to the nearby hess gas station and filled up my motorcycle (all 2 gallons). $9? expensive! i still remember the good old days when i could fill my tank spending about just $2. i finally cleaned out one of my fish tanks, the minibow. since that took well over an hour, there wasn't enough time to get to the other two aquariums. i got a ride to belmont from my mother and sister (who were down at the somerville police department reporting a hit and run that happened in the market basket parking lot). we finally had thursday night's lamb roast for dinner along with some sweet corn. my father gave me a ride home and also continued on the plumbing work. we finally got the right tools to pulled out the hot water cartridge. sure enough there were bits of hardened rubber blocking the in-flow pipe. after we flushed it out (i was down in the basement cycling the water off and on) normal water pressure was restored. then we noticed the cold water tap was leaking and disassembled that cartridge to find a small pebble trapped on the rubber stopper.
