2007

since i still had raw pork cutlet left in the fridge, i decided to make some tonkatsu again. this time i tried making my own bread crumbs, which basically meant toasting some bread and throwing it into the food processor. each time i deep fry i get better at it, but i still need to invest in a cooking thermometer because it's hard to gauge the oil temperature just by looking at it. using homemade bread crumbs made the tonkatsu crispier but i'm still not completely satisfied. i also shouldn't be eating anything with sharp edges ever since i burned the roof of my mouth from last weekend's feasting.

i fell asleep for a few hours on the couch, the week's worth of irregular sleeping finally catching up to me. i ordered a dvd burner upgrade, getting in some last minute "office supplies" before the end of the year, for tax reasons.
