2007

i woke up this morning with back pains. not sure if it's from sleeping in a weird position or it has something to do with canoeing this past weekend. the area between my shoulder blades feel like they're in knots. however, even with debilitating back pains i was still able to motorcycle out to burlington mall (via lexington green) to visit that barnes & noble bookstore. i didn't buy anything, it was just a fact finding mission. i don't know why there are desks there for people to do work. if people are using the place like a library, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a bookstore?

i returned to cambridge and visited the garden to do some watering. a ripe mulberry fell out of the tree and spattered onto my t-shirt. i went home to treat it with the stain stick; i got out most of the stain but it's still slightly visible. i'll be sure to wear a raincoat the next time i visit the garden. my mother came over briefly with my grandmother and aunt. nobody could remember if my grandmother had visited my place when i first had it painted, so i pulled up some past weblog entries to review. the last time my grandmother visited was back in october of 2002, when i first got my place (june). i was still painting, so i didn't even have furniture yet, much less even living here at the time.

later after they left, i did some work for client S (basically i forgot to upload a crucial xtra) before watching some movies on my computer. i briefly thought about going out for a run but i was able to use my back pains as an excuse to postpone it.
