it's pretty self-explanatory: i can't get enough of carnival! after visiting the garden one last time (i collected one last harvest before julie comes back from the mountains later tonight), i went to my second street party today, in my own backyard of cambridge, between central square and MIT. there was a brazilian procession leading the pack, as a bevy of lovely ladies danced ceaselessly down the street. say what you will, but brazilians know carnival and they do it right. that was followed by a rocking troupe of cowgirls. a lot of the participants from yesterday's carnival were in attendance as well.

afterwards i came home to take a brief nap (why was i so tired? who knows) before going to belmont to have dinner with my family, where i learned my sister just leased a brand new car. i think it's still an SUV though, even if it does get slightly better mileage than her current landrover.
