my flight to hanoi leaves chiang kai-shek international airport tomorrow at 9:10 in the morning. it's weird to think that this time tomorrow i'll be in vietnam! i'm filled with a mixture of fear and excitement. i started taking my anti-malarial drug this morning. no side effects initially, but i noticed i got a little motion sick on the subways (never happened before, could either be the heat, or maybe the new glasses) and when i ate a hot dog at the taipei zoo, i felt a little unsettled. it's probably nothing. malarone's only main side effect is an upset stomach.

a week in taipei and i definitely made the subway my new best friend. life is definitely a lot easier now with underground transportation, anyone can visit taipei now and not have to worry about getting lost. i went to dansui, i went to the taipei zoo, i went to taipei 101 (world's tallest building)...lots more but i can't remember and my computer is telling me 5 more minutes!
