some toaster oven pizza for dinner (burnt both slices), some chacarero for lunch, and the opportunity to go out running by myself in 44 degrees weather wearing shorts even though it was pretty windy and felt more like 30 degrees or less. "aren't you cold?" a panhandler asked me while i walked by him. "yeah, a little bit," i replied, and we both laughed. the woman at the chicken shack slowly eyeballed my naked legs while giving me my change for the small beef sandwich. i didn't feel as good as i did saturday afternoon, i was sort of tired, and i was running on an empty stomach. my hands and face were freezing when i got back to the office, but my legs were pretty warm. do i hate mondays? not really. i'm eager to get back to work. if anything, i don't think there are enough weekdays to get everything done. i've already started thinking about vacations. last night i asked my parents to ask around, see if there are anymore touring opportunities in china. this morning i watched a young man push open the exit gate out of the subway station with the sleeve of his jacket. i thought that was funny, i thought i was a germphobe, but i guess there are even worse cases. when i got into the office and went to wash my hands, kristine made fun of me. i told her i don't have ocd.
