2012

this was the first morning in 3 days (since thursday) that i didn't have to wake up early for a long day. it's nice to be able to sleep in for a change.

since i still had the car, i drove it back to belmont in the late morning. the sky was overcast and little hard pellets of snow fell briefly. i had some mantou stuffed with beef slices for lunch. i brought back the foscam wireless webcam and set it up at my parents' place to test. i spent the rest of the afternoon half-heartedly watching some football (the real game was later tonight, between the new england and san francisco). after dinner i helped my father assemble a small green house dome ($30) he bought over the weekend for possibly growing some plants (cilantro) indoors during the winter. afterwards i got a ride back to cambridge. it'd been raining for most of the day, a cold and miserable night.

good news: the patriots staged a thrilling 4 touchdown comeback run in the second half after scoring a field goal in the first half. bad news: the 49er's scored a touchdown of their own with just minutes left in the game to break the tie. it was just too much for new england to overcome, but the patriots battled until the very end, and even with 30 seconds left they still had a small change of possibly tying the game. here's hoping the denver bronco's will lose one of their next 2 games and new england win all of theirs so they can get the bye week.
