spring. some people already have their shorts and sandals on, while others are still dressed in their winter jackets. i sat by my window, taking photos of my neighbors with the loaner 40D. it's bulky, it's heavy, but i could get used to 6.5 frames per second shooting. image quality wise, same as my old camera, but with a slightly bigger CCD chip, more megapixels means closer crops with less loss in quality.

naturally i had some pains in my legs from running yesterday. you don't just come back from a 6 months hiatus and not suffer some consequences. it's mostly in my shin areas, not too bad.

finally did a water change on my minibow tank. it took more than an hour because i was busy scrubbing all that algae off the java ferns and driftwood pieces. i also split a few pepper plants, and reseeded some more peppers, tomatillos, and even a basil. i transplanted a coreopsis but less than an hour later i saw it had already wilted.
