i slept in the guest bedroom last night, like a poor man's version of camping out. woke up around noon to find almost 100 e-mails in the bug database. fortunately the weather outside was again cold and rainy, so it wasn't a big deal to stay home and work. besides, there was a red sox yankees game on television to keep me company. i prepared some rice porridge for lunch with the big pot of chicken broth i made last night. i also baked a jalapeño bread, made the house smell like a fresh bakery. my mother and sister came by briefly and i told them i wouldn't be able to go to belmont tonight because i had too much work. i made pretty good progress and by evening i had just 9 bugs left. i cooked up some rice noodles for dinner and watched a bit of television before returning to work.
