when i was out on the road it was hard to sleep late; not because i didn't want to, but i couldn't afford to sleep in and cut short a day of sightseeing. now that i'm back, i've been able to indulge a bit. woke up around noon to a cold house, my computer still running after cataloging photos overnight. i ate some leftovers, watched some television, surfed the web. in the early evening i fell asleep under a layer of heavy blankets out in the living room, and didn't wake up until almost 10pm. whether this is related to jetlag or the fact that it's so cold i want to hibernate, i'm not quite sure. i filled the tub and soaked for an hour, reading two magazines from my 3-months stack of unread periodicals. in the wee hours of the night i had instant noodle in a cup. finally the computer finished with the photo catalog. the count as of now is 58,552 photos, including a few hundred from my three gorges roommate suwei.
