greater boston motorsports called me early this morning to let me know that my tire was ready. my father went to go pick it up later in the afternoon. i didn't leave the house all day, just quietly working in my room. i bought plane tickets for washington dc ($180 jet blue), i'm going to our nation's capital early next month to partake in the cherry blossom festivities. i thought about taking the train down (it was the same price as a one-way plane ticket) but finally in the end decided that 4x the travel time wasn't worth it just to ride the choo-choo 450 miles.

my friend manny came over in the evening. he got the order wrong and we ended up getting 40 chicken wings for dinner. on a good day i can barely finish 10 wings. on a day where i was still suffering the after effects of too much chipotle peppers last night, it was a real struggle just to eat 5. i ended up going 10 and saving the rest for tomorrow (maybe never, i can't even bare to look at another wing). manny gave me a belated birthday present, a box of animal print band-aids, and a mesh bag of tulip bulbs from his recent trip to amsterdam. we watched america's next top model (can't believe that asian girl didn't get eliminated!) and played a little bit of katamari damacy.
