like many people, i woke up this morning and got ready for work, a small contract job that would bring me back to norwood. having been there already, this time i didn't get lost, and actually arrived with 30 minutes to spare. i parked the motorcycle by the only bagel shop in the whole area and had some breakfast, before showing up at the client's at 10:30. a little bit of code work became a lot as i attempted to graft lingo from one program into another. i left at 5:30, but i'm going back again early tomorrow to finish things up. it's weird, when i don't have work, that's all i think about. and when i'm actually working, all i want to do is to just lounge around. there's got to be a job where i can get paid to sit at home and watch television or maybe get paid for wandering around in the woods. coming home was a little bit more challenging; i took a wrong turn at the fenway rotary and ended up in kenmore square, storrow drive, and kendall square before i finally came home.
