tonight i am writing from my bed, in my bedroom, after an exhausting 14 hours of continuous coding. i'm so fried right now that i'm shaking. i spent virtually the entire day confined to my bedroom in front of the computer. i ate two donuts for lunch in front of the machine then around 11pm i had dinner in my bedroom as well, some bread and a container of soup from my parents who came by briefly earlier in the evening. i watched shark skin man and peach hip girl (japanese 1998) while i ate, an interesting movie, too cool for its own good, like japan's answer to pulp fiction. i can't get enough of tadanobu asano: whatever "it" is, he's got it. i had a deadline today and i promised that i'd deliver something by the end of the day. perhaps the client were expecting me to be so literal: i didn't upload until close to midnight. the lesson to be learned here is don't leave everything until the last minute. the good thing is i'm experiencing a post-delivery high right now, like nothing in the world could bother me. i'm going to have a good sleep tonight.
