forgive me, i've been playing around with the bluetooth capabilities of my new cellphone, uploading themes, ringtones, photos. 2mb of memory just isn't enough, i might have to erase some of the games soon. bluetooth really is amazing. somehow my ibook can find the phone even though they're not physically connected. wireless is really cool but all these invisible signals worry me sometimes. i'm not technophobe, but i don't know how healthy it is having all these different waves and beams passing through my body. if only they'd invent a shiny wavelength protection suit that's not only useful but also sexy.

i've been messing around with all sorts of technology today. i finally joined flickr.com, this online photosharing place that's a combination of photopoint (for those of you who remember that free-then-pay online photo storage website) and livejournal. if i could get 5 friends to sign up as well, i could upgrade my account to 1GB of upload per month (for a 3 month trial period, while flickr.com is still in its beta infancy) (thanks for all those that helped me get my upgrade).

today i had no plans other than to watch the red sox yankees game. i could've slept late, but woke up before noon to check what time the game started, figuring maybe if it was an evening game i'd have time to go see a movie or something. 2pm was the starting time, which pretty much took over the rest of my day. i didn't even go out today (at least not during the day), just stayed inside, worked on my groton state forest entries (remember those? they're still not finished), watched baseball and ate some canned soup. the game was pretty much won in the first inning, when the red sox abused kevin brown, the starting pitcher for the yankees. it got so bad i was yelling at the television, asking torres to take him out.

when evening rolled around, i drove out to the watertown mall, to visit the best buy, so i could get a bluetooth usb adapter (kensington, $40 - i've seen cheaper ones online with longer range (100ft versus 30ft) but i couldn't wait, i wanted one right away). i then went to belmont, where my parents made fresh chinese dumplings for dinner. afterwards i looked at the photos my aunt took during her recent trip to china, including the yellow mountains. i returned to cambridge, where ever since i've been customizing my cameraphone.
