my aunt and uncle invited my mother out to lunch at the sichuan gourment restaurant in billerica. my sister and i went along as well. the place was crowded when we got there, despite having been opened for only half an hour. the clientele was exclusively mainland chinese. sichuan food is known for its spicy dishes, but we found the food there to be only moderately hot. i came home and planned on taking a nap because i was really tired (i didn't get too much sleep all this weekend, i was also a little motion sick) but ended up watching television (a pbs nature special called "when animals go bad" and a playoff game between the lakers and the spurs), where i almost fell asleep on the couch, but not before andrew left to go celebrate mother's day with his mom and brother, while my parents and sister came over to my place for dinner, making some food but also ordering a few takeout items from zoe's. we talked about where to get face masks for our SARS-scared relatives back in taiwan (where the price for those things are very high and supplies are limited), and how chinese people everywhere are buying them up from places like home depot to send back to relatives in asia. my family left after dinner, everyone feeling very tired for some reason (maybe i was sending out sleepy vibes).

i'm going to make a very early night of it then. floss, brush my teeth, maybe take a shower, curl up in bed with a good book, before falling asleep. painting fun awaits me 8am tomorrow morning. in a day's worth of work i can make enough money to cover my groceries expenses for a week. or pay off one of my utility bills. or save up for a wireless airport hub (andrew surprised me today when he showed me the wireless network card in his PC laptop).
